This is completely unacceptable. "Eminent domain" should only be used in cases of dire emergency or national security. Building a roundabout is certainly not a worthy enough goal for a highway district to seize owned property. This abuse of "eminent domain" must be dealt with by the Idaho Legislature, and I would proudly sponsor a bill to guarantee that this abuse never happens again! LINK
